Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a family of musicians. The music she grew up with was traditional and old boleros, as well as the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense training in singing. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. When she moved into the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that by sharing her knowledge songs from Latin American traditional songs, to instill a passion, particularly for the young generation in keeping the music in the present.
